Creative Design Methods

This class is an introduction to early stage design methods including a variety of creativity and idea generation tools. There is an emphasis on innovative product concept development. In lecture students learn a toolset and apply it to an ongoing project. Work is documented on a blog. We also visit a different industry every other week to see how they innovate. This class is required for the product design minors and majors.

Barry Kudrowiz (barryk) is the course instructor. He has office hours in Rapson Hall Room 37 on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30. Sarah Alfala (alfal003h) and Krystianna Johnson (joh09014) are the Teaching Assistants.
